Lis Neris harvest time 2019

This week sees the beginning of the grape harvest from which the Lis Neris classics are produced.  The vineyards are located between the Slovenian border to the North and the right bank of the Isonzo river to the South.

Wine producer Alvaro Pecorari explains what harvesting at this time means for this year's Vinatage.

"This is a good sign, demonstrating a better distribution of the evolution and maturation phases of the grapes throughout the spring and summer.

This situation is, unsurprisingly, the natural consequence to a well-balanced season that will give wines with no excesses and no limitations, through the care of experienced and brave producers."
