This locally grown blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties has intense black fruit aromas of blackberries and mulberries with some smoky, sweet spice and dark chocolate undertones. On the palate it is a full bodied wine and well balanced with plenty of ripe tannins and a very pleasant long lingering finish. Ageing for over 12 months in oak barriques adds an increased complexity and enhances it's excellent ageing potential.
