The Secret Ingredient in Manuelina Wines

For sparkling wine lovers moving out of there comfort zone to explore Méthode Traditionelle wines other than Champagne there is one winery well worth exploring. In the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese wine region, in the town of Santa Maria della Versa, Azienda Agricola Manuelina is producing some exceptional wines using the Méthode Traditionelle or for the Italians Metodo Classico.

The calcareous clay and mild climate of Oltrepò Pavese makes it ideal for the cultivation of Pinot Noir. But what is the secret ingredient that makes Manuelina wines so special?  It's the passion and devotion that the Achilli family have shown to their vineyards and wine making tradition for over 70 years.  We are proud to have these wines as part of our selection in our wine cellar.
