This is a 100% Harslevelu wine from the Uragya vineyard. Harslevelu is one of the indigenous grapes of Hungary and is known for producing wines of dynamic character and good acidity. The grape is aromatic and versatile; able to show depths of fruit, minerality and even some nuttiness.
The 2020 vintage was a cold vintage. Unlike in normal years, wines from 2020 underwent a period of skin maceration leading to a gorgeous golden hued yellow color. The wine also experienced 9 months of oak ageing in Hungarian oak. Aromas of quince, apple and minerals are complimented by high acidity and medium body. This wine lends itself very well to food pairings.
